Full Closure of Eastbound I-210 Freeway Between Baldwin and Santa Anita Will Occur Late Monday, September 26 and Again Late Tuesday, September 27, 2011 from Midnight to 5 a.m.

For safety purposes during installation of the reinforcing steel cage for the second of three 110-foot deep, 11-foot diameter foundations, all eastbound lanes of the I-210 Freeway will be closed starting Monday night, September 26 at Midnight, reopening Tuesday, September 27 at 5:00 a.m.  All eastbound lanes will again be closed starting Midnight Tuesday, September 27 (and reopening on Wednesday the 28th at 5:00 a.m.). The second closure is to allow access of 45 concrete trucks to pour the 400 cubic yards of concrete needed to complete the deep foundation.

The lanes will be closed gradually before full closure occurs at Midnight. On-ramps to the eastbound lanes will be closed at Rosemead Blvd., Michillinda Blvd., and Baldwin Ave. beginning at 9:00 p.m. Partial lane closures of up to three lanes will commence at 11:00 p.m., with full closure beginning at Midnight.  Please click here for more details including our 24-hour hotline and a map of the detour route during the closure.
