I’ll get to the point: I need your help.

I’ve been working on a photo essay of the new Gold Line extension to Azusa that opens March 5. I’ve got plenty of train pics, but I’m really trying to also give Source readers a good look at the communities that will be served by the rail line — Arcadia, Monrovia, Duarte, Irwindale and Azusa.

Specifically, I’m looking for future riders, businesses or pretty much anything that tells the stories of the Foothill communities. I’m most interested in people pics. And I’m glad to come out and take your pic or a pic of your business if interested.

I’m open to any ideas. If you’ve got one, email me or feel free to call me directly at 213-922-3578. Anyone featured will, of course, receive a full-resolution digital file of the pic and you’re absolutely free to do anything you wish with the image.

Thanks much and hope to see you soon! I put a few pics above that I’ve already shot. I’m hoping to post the photo essay about a week before the extension opens.
