Monthly parking permits go on sale Monday 10 a.m. for DT Azusa, Irwindale and Monrovia stations

Heads up: $39 monthly permit parking spaces go on sale Monday at 10 a.m. for the parking garages at the Gold Line’s Irwindale, Monrovia and Downtown Azusa stations. The permits at downtown Azusa are very limited at this time — Metro is working with the city of Azusa to get more spaces.
The permits allow users to park in designated spaces if they arrive at the garages between the hours of 4 a.m. and 10 a.m. This is similar to the permit system Metro has at other garages: only some of the spaces at each garage are being put in the permit program.
The permits will be available for sale on a first-come, first-served basis. After a location has sold out of permits, a waiting list will be established.
To purchase a space, click here and then click on the “search” button at the bottom of the page to see if there are permits available. If so, you will then be able to register and purchase a permit.
Got a space for Azusa DT, and will use it, of course. Can’t wait for Azusa Citrus parking to be made available!!!

too bad the Azusa/Dntwn and Irwindale sold out in less than a day. So many of us REALLY need it. Now we will drive the freeway as you try to tax that too.
