Holden Responds to Governor’s State of the State – Pasadena Now

Holden said he looked forward to Newsom’s support on his Gold Line proposal.

“I believe that extending the Gold Line will provide enhancement of quality of life and ridership throughout California’s urban communities. Giving people a way to and from work and other daily life obligations, allows them to focus on issues that matter such as sustainability, housing, education, and family. It is vital that we provide solutions that work for people and allows them to thrive.

“I applaud the Governor’s response to making sure our communities are accessible and equitable with the commitment to build sustainable transit infrastructure and increasing opportunities for students of all ages. The Governor has provided the Legislature a strong plan of action for 2022, and I look forward to continuing our progress in building a strong and prosperous California.”
