Crews have completed the installation of a critical safety element as they prepare to test the new light rail system this summer: the train control system. Over the past year, crews installed equipment, underground cables, signals and sensors throughout the corridor that will monitor train movement; provide alerts to personnel in the trains or at control centers; and control the crossing gates and signals.
Thank you for posting the updates, pictures and status of the line. It is so interesting to see RR construction during my life time, when it was for a long time a record of abandonment. Thank you, please keep these updates coming.
