All are Invited to City of Duarte Transit Open House on January 15, 2015 – Pasadena Journal

Residents are invited to attend an open house on January 15, 2015 from 4:00-8:00pm, at the Duarte Senior Center, located at 1600 Huntington Drive, to learn about the transit system and share ideas with staff about how to optimize performance.  Food and beverages will be provided.

Residents will have the opportunity to hear about the results from the recent Duarte Transit Survey.  The survey was distributed
for several months and all residents, including transit riders and non-riders, were encouraged to provide feedback to help City staff evaluate the transit system’s current and future performance needs.  The survey is part of a study to help the City identify ways to coordinate with the future Gold Line service and to enhance residents’ travel opportunities in more efficient and cost effective ways.  Residents can meet Duarte Transit staff members and get the latest City Transit schedules.

Residents will also learn about the Gold Line Foothill Extension construction from Foothill Gold Line staff.  Residents will be invited to leave comments and suggestion for the study’s recommendations.
