After more than one year of intense activity, crews completed all structural work on the I-210 Gold Line Bridge last week, resulting in the bridge now standing on its own. With the structure fully secure on its own, the temporary support structure will be removed starting just after Labor Day. Up to 20 nighttime closures of the eastbound I-210 Freeway will take place over the next six weeks to safely remove this temporary structure. This coming week, closures will occur starting late Tuesday night, Sept. 4 and include closures on Wednesday and Thursday nights. The following week, closures will start late Sunday, Sept 9 and include closures Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights.
