Construction Authority Releases Intermodal Parking Facilities Design Services RFP

On Wednesday, March 23, 2011, the Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension Construction Authority issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Intermodal Parking Facilities Design Services. Qualified engineering, design and architectural services firms are encouraged to submit bids to complete 85% designs for six intermodal parking facilities.

The facilities are planned as part of the Foothill Extension from Pasadena to Azusa project and include one facility per future station. Stations are planned in the cities of Arcadia, Monrovia, Duarte, Irwindale, and two in the city of Azusa.

A pre-proposal conference is being hosted for firms interested in responding to the RFP:

Proposals are due by 11:00 a.m., May 18, 2011.
