At the future Glendora station, crews have completed the installation of the tile mosaics for the four art columns located at nearby streets. Designed by Glendora station artist Michael Hillman, each mosaic is made up of more than 28,000 individual Italian-made tesserae glass tiles, with imagery created that includes citrus, the foothills, bougainvillea and the brodiaea filifolia flower. The tile mosaics have now been installed for all eight art columns – four on the station platform that were previously completed, and these four at station entrances.
