The February 2023 issue of Mobility is out and includes updates on transportation issues and projects impacting our region. Featured on pages 12 and 13 of the new issue is a progress update on the Glendora to Pomona project, including a status update on the efforts to bring the light rail line to Claremont and Montclair. The issue also includes a note by Foothill Gold Line CEO Habib F. Balian reflecting on the state of the project and what to expect in 2023. NOTE: The article on the funding status of the Pomona to Montclair segment was published prior to the recent California state award announcement (mentioned in the article), which did not include funding for the 3.2-mile segment. The Construction Authority will continue to work with LA Metro, along with state and local elected officials, to seek funding for the Pomona to Montclair segment.
