After three and a half months of the street being closed for grade crossing reconstruction, Wheeler Ave. in La Verne was reopened to motorists this week. The sidewalks will be completed and opened to pedestrians in the coming week.

The track in the middle of the photos is a temporary freight track installed to allow freight service to continue. It will be replaced with a light rail track in the future.
