Crews are nearing completion on the first of four construction phases needed to reconfigure the Bonita Ave./Cataract Ave. intersection in San Dimas. Phase 1 of the work involves constructing new eastbound lanes on Bonita Ave., west of Cataract Ave. Once complete, vehicles and pedestrians will be re-routed onto the new lanes, providing the room necessary for crews to begin building the abutments for the future light rail bridge over the intersection.
