Read About How Railroads Have Changed the Cities of the San Gabriel Valley for More Than a Century

Well before the Foothill Gold Line, rail transportation was playing a crucial role in shaping the culture and landscape of the San Gabriel Valley. With the Foothill Gold Line, the next chapter of that evolution is occurring. The Construction Authority worked with well-known author and designer Kathleen Thorne-Thomsen to develop a book about the changes that have occurred along the Foothill Gold Line corridor over the last century, and what is planned for the future. It was given out at the station dedications in August and September; but by popular request, it is now available as an E-book.
